“Winter moon” by: Langston Hughes

Written by:MN

The gist of the poem is that the poet is describing how the moon looks like. The theme is that the poet is describing the crest moon how thin, slim and ghostly white it is. Langston Hughes build an image for me because in the poem it is “how thin and sharp is the moon tonight”. My opinion about this poem is that I like how it is describing the crest moon with imaginary. My favorite line is “how thin and sharp and ghostly white”. It is my favorite line because it explains how the moon looks like. There is rhythm in the poem because you can clap like a beat to the poem.
