In chapter 11: Matt pretended to call his mom. Matt was sitting next to Israel. Matt said “oh, hi mom. How are you? Me? Great just hanging in the eighteenth century. Behave myself? Don’t worry, mom, George Washington are hear and a few of friends are here to see that. Home? I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I’ll be back, I promise.” that was so sad.
Chapter 12: In chapter 12 Matt wanted to be in a heated car. Also Matt knew that the Americans won the battle of Trenton but, Matt didn’t know how many rebels were killed and attacked and killed.
Chapter 13: in chapter 13 it talks about Matt is worrying about her.
Chapter 14: Someone called Matt and Matt thought it was his dad “no lad I’m not your father. I’m Nathen Hornbee”.
Chapter 15: in chapter 15 Nathen Hornbee took the bowl from Matt because Matt was hungry. Matt asked Nathen if he was a patriot Nathen said to talk about it in the house.
Chapter 16: Matt had found some Indian boys and one of the Indian boys were directly aiming at Matt heart.
Chapter 17: Matt wanted to Save Katie because he had missed her so much.
Chapter 18: Matt felt like he has entered a maze with the Indians.
Chapter 19: Matt said “I’ve got to keep my eyes open. I’VE GOT TO.”Matt was so desperate.
Chapter 20: someone was pointing a gun at Hooter. Matt said “no were patriots!”
Chapter 21: Katie was missing again and matt cried out “Katie where are you!”
Chapter 22: The crew found the boat but they didn’t know how to turn the magic boat on.
Chapter 23: The crew got back home but I felt that matt would get in trouble for putting the peas in the sugar bowl.
