Langston Hughes by AD

“Youth” Langston Hughes Blog post!

Langston Hughes made an image in my head. The image he made was like me waking up to a better tomorrow. I think this is my favorite poem that Langston Hughes ever wrote. The basic gist of this poem is don’t ever doubt a tomorrow. The theme of the poem is never think of no tomorrow. Langston Hughes used rhythm rhyme which made the poem better. My favorite line is “a night gone thing, a sun down name”. This is my favorite line because it made me think it meant when the sun goes down it will always come back up. My opinion of this poem is that the poem was one of the best poems Langston Hughes ever wrote. This is my reaction to the poem “Youth” by: Langston Hughes. Thank you for reading this J.
